The Elementary Juvenile Aviator program is tailored specifically for young learners, typically aged 9 to 11. During this period, aviation concepts are introduced through engaging and accessible lessons designed specifically for their age group. Foundational topics in aviation are covered, ensuring that students gain a basic understanding of flight while keeping learning fun and interactive.

The subjects taught emphasize foundational concepts in aviation, simplified for younger students to spark curiosity and build a basic understanding.

Key subjects to be covered include:

  1. Meet the Airplanes – Basics about airplanes, helicopters, and different types of aircraft, including the parts of an airplane and what each part does.
  2. Wings of the Past – Fun history about aviation pioneers, and the first flight with drawings of early airplanes.
  3. How Planes Fly – Explanations of how airplanes fly, covering simple concepts like lift, gravity, thrust, and drag; using easy-to-understand languages and demonstrations.
  4. Finding Our Way – Introduction to simple navigation tools like compasses, maps, and basic directions (north, south, east, and west), teaching students how pilots find their way in the sky.
  5. Weather and Flying – A look at how weather affects flight, with focus on cloud types, wind, rain, and snow; and how pilots use this knowledge for safe flying.
  6. Staying Safe in the Sky – Importance of safety rules on an airplane, including listening to instructions, wearing seatbelts.
  7. Talking Like a Pilot – Basic radio phrases and phonetic alphabet. Understanding how pilots and air traffic control communicate to ensure safety.
  8. Our Sky and Beyond – Basic introduction to the sky, space and rockets.
  9. Aviation Jobs – Different jobs in aviation, like pilots and engineers.

 

Training Format:

  1. Audiovisual is a video explanation of every subject of Elementary Aviators Program.
  2. Onsite training is arranged with the school management for pupils with interest in aviation training.

Examination and Certification 

Eagles Assurgent Connexion offers an online examination at the end of each subject to assess students’ understanding.

Upon successfully passing the entire examinations, students receive a Juvenile Ground School Pilot Certificate of Completion. This certificate represents a student’s dedication, knowledge, and skills acquired throughout the program.
