PPL Onsite Ground School Instruction

On-site ground school instruction offers trainees the unique opportunity to participate in face-to-face instruction within a dedicated ground training center, combining the rigor of in-person learning with the benefit of direct engagement with instructors and peers. The on-site ground school is ideal for students who prefer a hands-on, interactive learning environment.

Subject Coverage

This training pathway covers eight essential subjects required for private pilot licensure, in alignment with FAA and CAA standards. Each subject has been carefully designed to provide a holistic education in aviation theory; ensuring students build a strong foundation of knowledge to apply in both exams and practical training.

The subjects are Principles of Flight, Meteorology, Air Law, Radio Telephony, Human Performance and Limitation, Navigation, Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance and Planning.

Each subject is taught with a mix of theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and demonstrations to ensure that students not only understand the concepts but also feel confident applying them.

Program Structure and Schedule

The on-site ground school instruction is fragmented into four sessions per year, allowing flexibility for trainees to select a session that best suits their schedule. Each session accommodates 25 hours of in-person learning spread across a period of six weeks, offering trainees a thorough understanding of critical concepts and ensuring they are well-prepared for subsequent evaluations and practical applications.

The 2025 On-site Ground School Sessions is scheduled for the months below:

2. April
3. July
4. October

Examination and Certification

Upon completion of the on-site ground school instruction, trainees are required to sit for Eagles Assurgent Connexion private pilot online examination. This examination assesses the trainee’s comprehension of each subject and verifies their readiness to progress toward practical training. It is also a strong preparatory tool for the FAA or CAA PPL theoretical examination, providing a pathway toward licensure. 

Successful completion of the examinations and all course requirements will earn trainee a certificate of completion. This certificate signifies that the trainee has met Eagles Assurgent Connexion’s high standards for private pilot ground school instruction and qualifies them to proceed to private pilot flight training with our international partners.
